The Welfare terrorist: Nothing shocking here, but it was discovered that the Boston two were both on public assistance, (welfare) since they arrived seeking assylum with their family (all on the tax payers big fat titty) Yesterday I saw a truck serving as a temporary home to guy and his dog. It had an ass load of tools in the back and a bumper sticker that read: Obummer. Until we all vote for change, change back to the way things were, your work will continue paying for more well educated, well off foreign terrorists trying to killing us at every public event as you see more hard working Americans living out of their cars at Walmart, working any way possible to keep a small piece of what the socialists will let them keep. The rest goes to Khalid Sheik Mohahhmed to spend in a strip club before religious Jhihad on you and your family.
I told him Assylum is a fantastic pr0n name.

I have no firsthand experience with welfare (so far – I suspect at some point that may change) but the other year I met up with a friend from college and the subject of food stamps came up, she’d had to go on them for a little while while unemployed. Apparently, what she got was thirty dollars a month.
I remember trying to wrap my head around that and thinking to myself “holy shit, so… if I bought literally NOTHING BUT the cheapest pasta, with thirty dollars a month I’d have enough money to buy myself… one meal a day? Is that right?” And this was DC; I don’t like to imagine how much less she’d have been getting in Alabama.

In general, blue states have higher cash payments and lower food stamps payments, while the red states have virtually non-existent cash payments and relatively high food stamps payments. Why? Because the states share a portion of the cash welfare payments while food stamps (now called SNAP, oficially) are just about 100% federal money. So your Alabamian probably gets plenty of food stamps but can’t afford anything more than a shack to live in.
And there’s that TWELVE FUCKING BILLION DOLLARS in hard US dollars that was loaded onto planes, flown to Iraq, and then made to disappear.
Do not forget that some of that money was supposed to go to US POW’s who had been tortured by Saddam’s people back in the first Gulf War and sued under US law to get compensation from frozen Iraqi accounts.
From what I know of cash assistance in NYS, it’s probable that Ms. Russell got benefits in her name because she is still using her maiden name and got them because she had the child. Tamerlan Tsarneav probably got benefits in his name because he was married and had a child. In most cases, single adults do not get “welfare” (aid to families, whatever it’s called now).
