Looks like we need another one. Here are a few items from the morning news:
- David Holmes, the guy who overheard Trump when he called Sondland in a restaurant, spilled a lot more than that.
- Trump made an unscheduled visit to Walter Reed yesterday, supposedly to start his yearly physical. Today the White House said he’s not going anywhere. Speculation runs rampant about some kind of cardiac event, but there are a lot of things elderly men with poor diets might suffer from – my guess is he needed a manual fecal disimpaction.
- Tedra Cobb, Elise Stefanik’s opponent in NY-22, just blew past $800K in donations.

Largely because there was a report he had chest pains. Again, though, this is a great example of what lying all the time gets you: nobody will believe anything the White House says about this because they’ve completely blown any credibility they might have had.

Any one that signed off on any of the reporting that this was “phase 1 of his annual physical” or “early start to it” needs to check to see if they are still breathing cause they are too stupid to do it without someone telling them how to do it.

Their argument is that they didn’t do that. They didn’t report those things. Rather, they reported that the White House had made that claim. This is the fig leaf they use when repeating Republican lies. If they repeat what somebody says, they would have to fact check it, but if they report that somebody said something, the fact that they said it is justification for repeating it.

SMH…so the big headlines is that Pete is surging in Iowa.
if there is a lesson learned from Louisiana last night and the midterm last time… any Dem candidate who thinks they can beat Chump/GOP in a general election w/o good or better than good amount of Black voters they are fooling themselves. Iowa/NH primaries don’t reflect that at all.
They provide a false sense of the race in the beginning. That’s why I say anyone who has more than 5 % of the Black vote so far would be crazy not to stay in until SC with a large enough Black voter population that could actually mean something
The numbers in SC has Biden still running double digits away from the next #2 candidate with Black voters there.

I’m still having fun with irresponsible speculation — are we sure he returned from Walter Reed? I believe that cars returned to the WH from the hospital. Any evidence he was actually in one fo them?

Funny story: once treated a patient with severe constipation/impaction who got so desperate he used a garden hose to give himself an enema and literally blew a hole in his colon in the process, necessitating multiple transfusions and emergency surgery.
At least that’s what he told his wife and our staff in the ED.

@Miss Bianca: To be honest, I’m not sure bout SC. as of now it is Biden’s to lose, but I do know that the “divine 9” sorority/fraternity orgs are big for her and planning to push for her.
She also got the endorsement of one of the largest GOTV campaign orgs for AA women, with over 90,00 members who plan to also push for her in SC and other state with large AA voter populations.
If she does well in Iowa and Biden erodes even a little bit, she’s the likely one to benefit in SC
