    nice set piece…

    As a referee, I hate games like this where the teams are playing out the string with absolutely nothing riding on the game. I never know what the teams want besides their health and full eligibility for the next game.

    The Bolivian mid in the 20th minute should be sent — ref can’t see the forearm as a weapon that levelled his teammate but aimed at opponent, but he should be suspended when FIFA/CONCACAF sees the tape tomorrow morning.

    @Richard Mayhew: I went, took my two undersized premier strikers. I had no idea that Bolivia was this bad. I give credit to Argentina for staying organized in the face of such terrible play.

    Highlight of the evening was when Messi got in alone in the box, was called offside, then took one more touch, nutmegged the keeper, then ran around him to collect the ball and hand it back to him.
