Please enjoy this as much as I did:
We noticed @realDonaldTrump's tweets about @nytimes are basically lyrics to an early 2000s emo song, so we turned them into one. pic.twitter.com/pEr0v1t3o1

I love the baby hands on the phone in the last 40 seconds or so. Brilliant.

Nothing about what he says, does, or tweets is funny to me, whether set to emo music or farted out a duck’s ass. It’s real. He’s making policy with tweets. He’s destroying people’s lives with declarations. It just makes me sick. It’s not remotely funny.

The guided tour leads to Diorama 23– part of the ‘Gallery of Narcissism.’ The sign says:

The New York Times may imagine itself the newspaper of record but it is also the local paper of a certain segment of New York.
Think of when you drive through a small town and pick up their weekly to read with lunch at the diner. I know you can see it in your mind’s eye, the articles on the local hardware store’s 75th anniversary, the high school football stadium getting renovated, the local community theater production, etc.
That is the role the NYT plays for New York’s elite (see especially the Sunday wedding announcements). And those people HATE Trump, have always had no use for his boorish ways.
I think that when Trump sees the Times, he sees those people, the ones he’s not good enough for. Because let’s face it, as Kay points out, the Times could have done a lot of muckraking on him and his businesses, and they didn’t.
He actually owes them for their obsession with all things Clinton.

I think Al Gore deserves a medal for inventing the Internet. Otherwise, I would not have seen this, sitting here at my desk at work.

“Bloated and gone”? Talk about projection!

Didn’t the parliamentarian already rule that the last Republicans proposal, to repeal the individual mandate, needs 60 votes to pass? When does this threshold get applied? (And when will the NYT report it?)

I called McCains office this AM to ask the fucker why he voted yes on the first bill (not the MTP) when he said he wasnt going to. Office lady said that was a Democrat Budget Bill. I told her no it wasnt. She repeats her Democrat budget bill. Now they’re just fucking lying to the callers.
