From ace party-planner & commentor Casey L:
We’ve finalized plans for the Seattle Meetup in honor of ruemara coming to town:
Friday December 8 at 7:00 PM
Pike Place Brewery Pub
1415 1st Ave, Seattle, WA 98101I have made reservations under my name and “Balloon Juice” for 10 people, and will be happy to add more if needed. Also, people should know that parking in downtown Seattle is a royal PITA, so please take public transit if possible.

I will probably be dressed like a demented leprechaun. So there’s that.

Used to live 2 1/2 hours away. Not heading into the USA as long as the orange menace is there. Moved to the Okanagan anyway.
When we used to go to the Waterfront some weekends, I found sometimes you could get street parking right off the main road under the viaduct. Be careful which lot you choose, I saw a lot that was really cheap, but had broken window glass everywhere.

AAAAUGH!!! So they delayed my move in date. So I’m SUPPOSEDLY free this weekend…except it’s my nephew’s birthday.
No One You Know

Y’all have fun. Wish I lived a hella lot closer than Misery–the coasts, even the Gulf coast–are just so danged far away. And pics or it didn’t happen.

Public transit in Seattle still free within the downtown area? Would be good info to know/confirm.

@Anonymous At Work: Alas, no: the Magic Carpet was phased out some years ago.

@Anonymous At Work: Free transit ended in 2012. Here are your options now. https://www.visitseattle.org/visitor-information/getting-around/
