Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

Since we are repeating ourselves, let me just say fuck that.

“Just close your eyes and kiss the girl and go where the tilt-a-whirl takes you.” ~OzarkHillbilly

You are either for trump or for democracy. Pick one.

Technically true, but collectively nonsense

It is not hopeless, and we are not helpless.

Is it irresponsible to speculate? It is irresponsible not to.

The arc of the moral universe does not bend itself. it is up to us to bend it.

the 10% who apparently lack object permanence

Good lord, these people are nuts.

An almost top 10,000 blog!

That’s my take and I am available for criticism at this time.

Let’s bury these fuckers at the polls 2 years from now.

With all due respect and assumptions of good faith, please fuck off into the sun.

Second rate reporter says what?

A sufficient plurality of insane, greedy people can tank any democratic system ever devised, apparently.

I like political parties that aren’t owned by foreign adversaries.

The press swings at every pitch, we don’t have to.

Baby steps, because the Republican Party is full of angry babies.

GOP baffled that ‘we don’t care if you die’ is not a winning slogan.

If ‘weird’ was the finish line, they ran through the tape and kept running.

The desire to stay informed is directly at odds with the need to not be constantly enraged.

If you are still in the gop, you are either an extremist yourself, or in bed with those who are.

In after Baud. Damn.

When tyranny becomes law, rebellion becomes duty. ~Thomas Jefferson

Meet Buttercup and GOAT

Health policy writing will be light today as I owe my co-authors a revised draft and so far it is not making enough sense to me to share.

However, I would like to introduce you to Goat and Buttercup.  We adopted these two, a brother/sister pair of eight month olds, yesterday.  They spent most of the afternoon under the couch but by evening Goat had explored the entire living room and most of the kitchen while Buttercup explored as she wished.

Here is Goat:

Well, I’m happy you keep us updated on the really important stuff! :)

Nice to see B&G quickly acclimated to their new home and were able to leave the safety of the Undercouch Cave to go exploring.  In the first photo, what is that blur by Goat’s head?

My late Madeline shared much of the black and white markings I see on Buttercup. More pix of them both would be enjoyed.

Seriously Goat and Buttercup? What kind of names are those? All the other cats in the neighborhood are going to.make fun of them. Also your photography skills are a step up from Cole’s. Take that however you want to.

Cool! Kitties!  Your Buttercup looks like my new shorthaired tuxedo, Curren  he is about 6 months and full of beans,  his new brother Hugh is 7 months and a HUGE floofy white and gray spotted love muffin, we call him stoner cat because he is so chill.

    My dog may forgive me…someday!
