Voted already, I did. Is anybody else getting the text “reply to this comment” instead of the little gray arrow? It mucks up the handles. Started yesterday for me. (on FF 3.5.3 w/NoScript, AdBlock Plus. btw, edit/delete buttons show up fine.)
pulling for a UT/UF game myself. Yes I am a Longhorn.
People chitter about McCoy and Shipley, but UT has a heckuva defense to contend with as well. Will Muschamp has built a phenomenal and aggresive unit in Austin. He’s the anti Jumbo Fisher.

The longhorns look like they’re going to escape this week.
Personally, I’m rooting for every team to have one loss, because I despise the BCS.

Got my college football last night. Pitt Panther FTW. Pens tonight. Stillers v Mistake on the Lake tomorrow. I love how this weekend sports thing worked out for me this week.

@arguingwithsignposts: I hate the BCS too and always hope for the worst combination of circumstances to expose its flaws.
I’m wondering how much Colt McCoy hurt his draft position today.

OT but sports related, this must be seen to be believed.
I think it pretty much only matters what he does in the last game. If he explodes for 450 yards in the BCS Championship he may want to look at real estate in STL. See Jamarcus Russell.
@arguingwithsignposts: Moi, aussi. As to your comment about hating the BCS, that is.
You know what else I hate? Matt Millen as the color guy for the Gopher/Penn St. game. Matt Millen? Seriously? Why the fuck would I want to listen to anything that clown has to say?

Voted for Bitsy already. She’s doing well, but last week the winner had over 6000 votes. :o She’s got over 3,000 votes this week, but she needs more help! Vote Bitsy!
Me too but the Gators better have a much better second half. They’re down 7-3 to Arkansas at the half. Three fumbles so far for the Gators. This year’s Ole Miss?

@smiley: Sorry, make that 10-3 Arkansas at the half.

Yay! The Dawgs didn’t totally suck today, and Tebow just got sacked (again).
Not a terrible day.

I thought college football was racism? Go Yanks.

D-Chance.
‘Horns wins a game by 3 that they should have won by 30.
But… heck. A very profitable day. And the NFL looks even more promising tomorrow.

I spent $40 on a ticket to the OSU/Purdue game so I could see some friends I don’t see much (I’m a Purdue alum, they’re Ohio State grad students). I figured the price was worth it to see some friends I rarely can coordinate with, and I could deal with the inevitable blowout and requisite “Your team made a good effort!” condescension I would encounter from the Ohio State fans (and my friends).
Instead, I managed to see a ridiculous upset as Purdue decided to show up and play some football (not necessarily good football, but football none the less) while Ohio State was content to screw up constantly. BOILER UP!

Always a good day when Notre Dame loses. Arrogant pricks.

Purdue clobbers OSU AND Notre Dame loses? If IU can hold onto this twenty-point lead for another nine minutes and forty-one seconds this will be the best day of college football ever.
25.
Kit Smith
@Thlayli: You went with Notre Dame as the arrogant ones in that matchup? Against any other team I’d be in full concurrence, but it was USC they played. That’s a team that needs to learn humility by losing a few lot of games.

Hoosiers win! Hoosiers win!
Perfect football day.

@Kit Smith: Agreed. We didn’t call them the University of Spoiled Children when I was in college for nothing. Possible dream game: USC-Boise State with the Broncos breaking the Trojans wide open. Yeah, I went there.

The University of Alabama should move up to Number 1 and Mark Ingram should be the leader in the Heisman Race.
29.
Yutsano
@Rekster: At the very least Florida should lose their top spot. They looked HORRIBLE today. If it weren’t for Tebow somehow pulling it out of his ass AGAIN they would be 5-1.

After his team won and his Heisman hopes swirled further down the drain, uber Christian QB Colt McCoy of Texas said he was praying for his injured rival, Oklahoma QB Sam Bradford. True God fearing Texans should demand McCoy’s deportation. If God wanted that Bradford boy to stay healthy he would have given Oklahoma a better crop of Texans to man the OU offensive line.

Comrade Mary
My vote put her at 3194. Aren’t we shooting for at least 4000 this week?

Go Gators.
My hopes for a Bulls/Gators national title game went up in smoke Thursday night… so I gotta root for a Boise St./UF title game instead… >:-)
