1.) I desparately need someone to update WordPress. I have no clue how to do it. Some of you responded to earlier calls for help, which leads to…
2.) If you have emailed me in the past three days and I have not responded, email me again. A spammer got hold of my gmail address, and I woke up with 5k messages (all autoreplies- a large number of people are out of the office at 3 am on a Monday morning). I simply deleted them all.

If you can get students to play Darrell, you can find a student who can figure out WordPress.

Have you had a look at WordPress Automatic Upgrade? It automates WordPress files with a button pres. It does require that you know how to install a WordPress plugin. It can be found here: http://techie-buzz.com/
The WordPress site has the basics of plugin installation and manangement here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Managing_Plugins
I can’t tell what version of WordPress your using, but if you’re updating version numbers (the current is 2.2.2) more than minor versions (2.2.1 to 2.2.2) you should look around the codex in the above link for more specifics about updates. Major version changes (like 2.1 to 2.2) may need more than an automated approach and may require the services of someone knowledgeable. BTW, that would not be me. I’m too busy right now.
Good Luck

Is the problem moving from an older version to an upgrade? Or is it just basic appearance changes? Or is the problem Dbase management or Dbase errors? I sent an email about trying to help, reply with an explanation of the problems.
