Balloon Juice

Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

If you don’t believe freedom is for everybody, then the thing you love isn’t freedom, it is privilege.

When we show up, we win.

Republicans don’t lie to be believed, they lie to be repeated.

Jack be nimble, jack be quick, hurry up and indict this prick.

Reality always gets a vote in the end.

The cruelty is the point; the law be damned.

Sadly, media malpractice has become standard practice.

This year has been the longest three days of putin’s life.

Also, are you sure you want people to rate your comments?

Our messy unity will be our strength.

Stay strong, because they are weak.

President Musk and Trump are both poorly raised, coddled 8 year old boys.

It’s easy to sit in safety and prescribe what other people should be doing.

Wake up. Grow up. Get in the fight.

The truth is, these are not very bright guys, and things got out of hand.

Republicans are radicals, not conservatives.

If you tweet it in all caps, that makes it true!

Republicans want to make it harder to vote and easier for them to cheat.

I’d hate to be the candidate who lost to this guy.

Not rolling over. fuck you, make me.

How stupid are these people?

The media handbook says “controversial” is the most negative description that can be used for a Republican.

All hail the time of the bunny!

Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

I see France, I see someone’s underpants.

Not sure how those pictures got out, but I really am not going to lose any sleep over it.

What A Mess

Went out and bought Tunch some Science Diet Light and some catnip, and I put the catfood away and forgot about the catnip, which I left in the bag on the couch.

Ten minutes later, I found one stoned cat (I can almost hear him purring from another room) rolling in a mountainous pile of catnip, which is now everywhere in the living room, as well as a much shredded bag.

Just another quick question about food- Why do they even make soft tofu? The firm tofu is the only one you can really cook anything with if my experiences are accurate.

Is there some purpose to soft tofu that I have just missed?

A Quick Question

Just out of curiosity- Am I the only person on the planet who can’t stand being in a crowd with a bunch of women wearing perfume?

I was at a graduation reception today, and all the damned perfume was overwhelming and made me sick to my stomache- like a carsick feeling.
