60 Minute Hacks

The Instapundit’s description of the 60 Minutes piece on ballistic fingerprinting is 100% accurate. My response was much less polite, and much more straightforward, and it involved an f-word.

I usually love 60 Minutes, so it bothers me when they get a story this wrong- how the hell am I supposed to trust them on other issues?

A LOT of people haven’t trusted them for many years; way too many slanted stories in pursuit of political posture.

No Justins, No Peace

Too often we confuse noise with substance. too often we confuse setbacks with defeat.

Too often we hand the biggest microphones to the cynics and the critics who delight in declaring failure.

I know this must be bad for Joe Biden, I just don’t know how.

Never forget that he train is barreling down on Trump, even as he dances on the tracks.

The republican speaker is a slippery little devil.

There are some who say that there are too many strawmen arguments on this blog.

SCOTUS: It’s not “bribery” unless it comes from the Bribery region of France. Otherwise, it’s merely “sparkling malfeasance”.

Another missed opportunity for Jamie Dimon to just shut the fuck up.

Never give a known liar the benefit of the doubt.

Balloon Juice, where there is always someone who will say you’re doing it wrong.

You can’t attract Republican voters. You can only out organize them.

The truth is, these are not very bright guys, and things got out of hand.

Live so that if you miss a day of work people aren’t hoping you’re dead.
