When people bitch about the Mulholland endorse attack on Arnold in the LA Times, keep in mind the timing of the release of this story, as well as all the comments from senior Democrat officials in California.
As soon as Arnold pulls ahead, the LA Times releases this- only a few days before the election. Can they really claim this isn’t a political hit piece?

The LAT admits going out and digging this stuff up… really, it’s like Carville and Begala aren’t needed. They have the press to do it for them.

From what I can tell, we have testimony through the making of Terminator 2 and Total Recall (early, early ’90s) then we have one story which was contradicted from 2000, then we have a woman saying he’s cleaned his act up.
Unless Arnold is running for governor of California in 1990, there’s nothing here.

No question, it was a hit piece — which doesn’t excuse the steroid-juiced imbecile from his juvenile and criminal behaviour……Is this the man Californians really want to run their state??
