More Nonsense

I forget who it was the other day who was foolishly challenging me that the Kerry campaign had renounced the tactics of the MoveOn crowd, and Bush should do the same by renouncing the Swift Vets. Bush has already renounced all 527’s, those that help himand those that hurt him, so it really should be Kerry moving to catch up. Regardless, this is how the Democrats ‘renounce’ smears about the President:

Kerry, to be sure, labeled as “inappropriate” Tuesday a new commercial by his shadow campaign, the far-left folks at MoveOn.org, which accuses President Bush of having “used his father to get into the National Guard and when the chips were down went missing.”

The Democratic candidate, acting at the instigation of GOP Sen. John McCain, also insisted that “this should be a campaign of issues, not insults.”

HDTV

I just got HDTV, and I now have ten channels in High Definition. I was wondering a few things:

1.) How many of you have HDTV?
2.) Did your viewing habits change when yo got it?
3.) Are you more likely to watch shows you have never watched before, simpy because they are in HD?

Personally, I have found myself watching anything in HD. I am actually having a soccer renaissance, since I get to watch so many games in HD. baseball is unbelievable, as are INDY car, Nascar, and football. Usually I am only interested in football and baseball.

Also, I get these two cable only channels, INHD and INHD2, and they broadcast all these IMAX movies which are just amazing.

The other thing that stuns me is how good old movies look.

At any rate, since I have ABC, CBS, and NBC, I notice that CBS seems to have more shows in HD, but NBC has a whole bunch of shows coming out inthe fall line-up in HD. I wonder how much my viewing habits will change.

I do know one thing. If the Hitler channel comes out in HD, I can cancel my social life.
