Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

Is trump is trying to break black America over his knee? signs point to ‘yes’.

America is going up in flames. The NYTimes fawns over MAGA celebrities. No longer a real newspaper.

The Palin PUMA PAC

by John Cole|  March 29, 200910:51 am| 31 Comments

This post is in: Republican Stupidity, PUMA = Propping Up McCain's Ass

FacebookTweetEmail

This is awesome on so many levels:

A well-heeled personal injury lawyer, Coale has been a major Democratic donor. It was his suggestion that Palin create a PAC to pay for travel and avoid ethics complaints in Alaska.

Coale told POLITICO he first met Palin during his wife’s taping of a September interview with the Alaska governor and explained that he was “extremely pissed off at the way Hillary was treated” and believed Palin was being subjected to the same “sexist” treatment. Coale ultimately endorsed McCain in the 2008 campaign.

“I’m just a friend of hers. I’m not on her staff and I’m not paid,” Coale insisted.

He said he and Palin “email back and forth about once a week.”

A bitter Hillary PUMA dead-ender, apparently unaware that she was treated so poorly that she was made Secretary of State, is one of the unintentional architects of the public food fight among the Wasilla wingnut’s staff. Not only do we now know that the Governor is taking bad advice from some random lawyer and his tv host (FAIR AND BALANCED, BITCHES!) wife, but now all the people in the GOP machine are losing faith in Palin. I’m sure that this story could get better, but it would need to involve rainbows and unicorns and talking dolphins.

I’m so pissed off at the sexist manner in which Hillary Clinton was treated that I’m going to support the Republican.

You know, the one who made that joke about Chelsea Clinton’s looks. The anti-choice guy. What’s-his-name, the one who hates feminists.

By the way, John Cole, remember that though you and I look at this as a funny story (say, "Clown Shoes") of right wingnuts doing their standard incompetence-in-power routine, the nutbag right looks at this and still wishes her to be in charge of the USA instead of their funhouse mirror vision of how the 2 months of Obama have turned out to be crazy destroy America socia_list communism no economy and take our guns.

Also, there’s this awesomeness from the Politico article:

Even more confusing, Palin and her advisers have done little to promote her substantive ideas instead leaving a vacuum that has been filled by a voracious media still hungry for stories about the governor and her family.

I too grieve that Palin’s staff disputes have gotten in the way of her being able to share her tremendously helpful "substantive ideas" with Alaska and all America, here in our hour of need.

So little, in fact, that this was the first inkling I’d gotten that she had any.

As governor, she is absolutely powerless – powerless, I tell you – to bring these ideas to the public forum. It’s not like she can just schedule a press conference, and governors are notorious for being so completely unable to work within the media at large. And it’s certainly not like she has a large grassroots organization (that got her elected) to tap into. Powerless, I tell you! Powerless!

Don’t forget that Coale (and van Susteren) are hard core, high level scientologists, and it boggles my mind that any politician would associate themselves with those clowns.

Well now–Let Palin be Palin–ditto all her nutty pals. And let’s hope and pray that the RNC is nuts enough to keep on trying to shove her substantive substance down our throats. In the immortal words of the great Obelix: "Ils sont fous ces Romains!" Make mine a PUMA.

Considering all the poisonous, back-stabbing enemies that Governor Sarah Palin has arrayed against her, it’s good to know that she can count on a few good people who are not afraid of a strong and independent woman like Palin.

This is a petty and probably mean thing to say, but the last few times I’ve seen Mooseburger on TV, it’s pretty clear that the thing she’s missing the most is that $10,000-a-week makeup artist and hair stylist. ;-)

I’m still chuckling about Palin blowing off a meeting with state legislators on the subject of federal stimulus funds, then claiming that they blew her off (royally pissing off said legislators in the process, of course). Now I’m wondering if this was a result of more expert advice from this Coale genius or just her ongoing assholery.

How ’bout Scientologists? The Politico is, of course, too dainty to mention it, but Coale is a high-level Scientologist who recruited his wife to the "religion". Scientologists haven’t had nearly as much success bamboozling recruiting politicians as they have media figures, but imagine Sarah Palin as the new Tom Cruise! And you thought having the Talibangelicals make decisions about other peoples’ health and welfare was scary…

It’s all kind of wonderful that a personal injury lawyer is a major Palin advisor. Aren’t all Repubs in favor of tort reform as the solution to virtually everything?

    Wait, what?

She crossed four time zones to attend Washington’s Alfalfa Dinner, a social gathering of the very political elites she spent much of the campaign blasting, yet skipped three opportunities to come to the Lower 48 to address policy-focused events – a House GOP retreat, CPAC and the National Governor’s Association Winter Meeting.

CPAC was a policy-focused event? I thought it was Lord Limbaugh’s coronation ceremony.
