Just think of that woman who just emailed that “joke” photo with Obama’s family represented by chimps. She said it had not even occurred to her how that could be interpreted as being racist, and that she even has black friends!

    How curious that she then said she had only sent it to people who would not be offended by it. What a dumb liar she is. If she had not thought it possibly offensive, then why was she careful about whom to share it with?

    On CNN.com the other day, they had an article that went something like “Nothing is more infuriating to the tax-averse than the fact that 45% of households pay no federal income tax.” If all you care about is reducing government theft through taxation, the fact that nearly half of all households do not pay any federal income tax should be cause for celebration. Tax cuts for me and not for thee, and I think it’s clear who the “thee” in that formulation is.

    @TheF79: Forgive me but the reason those 47% don’t pay an income taxes is because they don’t earn enough, they still pay FICA and sales taxes and a miriad of other taxes, the myth that they don’t pay any taxes is just that, a myth, the poor pay the highest tax burden as a percentage of their income than any other demographic. The average income in this country is $500.00 a week. That is barely enough to pay the rent.
