I have some news, my little juice boxes. ABLC is moving to Raw Story on Sunday. My new address will be angryblacklady.rawstory.com (or something similar). So hooray!

I’ll probably keep cross-posting here (much to the chagrin of some of you, I’m sure), but I won’t be cross-posting full posts (see? it’s not all bad!). It’ll be a “go to Raw Story to read the rest” dealio, assuming that’s cool with my new overlords.

At any rate, as tempestuous as my tenure here has been, I have grown to love this place and hope to continue posting here.

And if you have any inclination to donate to my Spring Fundraiser, I come highly recommended by Holland Taylor (as you’ll see on my chip-in page) and I hear that if you give me some cash, you’ll automatically become as classy as she is. So fork it over!

In all seriousness, I know damn well I wouldn’t have gotten to where I am if Cole hadn’t plucked me out of obscurity a year and a half ago. He’s a good friend and the wind beneath my tarred black wings.

So that’s all for now! I hope you’ll follow me to Raw Story. Love it or hate it, it’ll be the same shenanigans, just at a new address.

    I love this blog – and you are a large part of the reason I do. John may have done right by you, but I doubt I’m the only one who thinks “plucking you out of obscurity” was something of a self-serving gesture on his part. *grin*

    I unbookmarked Raw Story over a year ago over its hypercritical coverage of President Obama, but if they have the smarts to recognize the talent of Angry Black Lady then looks like I’ll have to climb back on board so I can continue reading all those great Angry Black posts.
