It’s right next to the Ballston metro. We’re not the heppest cats in town, we want to be able to hear and see each other, and we need to cater to non-epricurean tastes (especially at that time, it will probably be drinks). I will recommend Car Pool. Two blocks east from the hotel.

Do you mean the Hilton, Arlington in Ballston (2 blocks from the Ballston Mall) or the Hilton Garden Inn Arlington Shirlington or the Hilton Garden Inn Arlington/Courthouse Plaza. All have lots of places within an easy walk.

If it’s at 7 or 8, that’s a time I can do. Traffic will be lighter and I’ll be out of work. Looks like about 35-40 minutes from where I live in Laurel, MD.

Just FYI, anyone coming in from the northeast MARC-to-Metro would need to leave the insurrection 9:30ish in time to catch the Metro at 9:42 PM in order to catch the last train home (10:30 PM). Last Metro from Ballston north leaves at 11:39 PM, so anyone driving to New Carrollton & riding from there would have to leave 11:30ish.
Anyone planning to come down from Bawlmer area, maybe we can work a carpool to New Carrollton? I can probably fit 3 others in my auto. Post here if interested…

I would suggest Fire Works in Arlington if it’s the Arlington Hilton in on Courthouse Rd, in the Courthouse area. Wood oven pizza and an extensive beer list. One and half blocks from the Arlington Hilton and one block from the Courthouse Metro.
