Well done. Because becoming what you purport to despise is always the moral, classy thing to do.
Hillary Clinton, multi-millionaire, friend of Wal-Mart, Ivy League educated lawyer, serial liar, and dare I say- elitist?
You Hillary supporters want friendly fire? You want to distort and lie about Obama? You want to become BFF with the McCain campaign, and the right-wing bloggers? I got your friendly fire, and I don’t need to lie. I just need to tell the truth about Hillary.
There is a reason she feels the need to lie about Obama- she thinks you can’t handle the truth. And you know why? Because she can’t. Bring it on, Hillbots.

Screw Hillary. Screw her rabid and increasingly delusional supporters. Screw the people who will claim it is all good in politics. Screw the pro-Hillary bloggers who will claim I just have CDS for stating this. Fuck all of ’em, and go join the GOP if you want to campaign like Karl Rove and think it is all good. If Hillary, her campign, and her supporters want to act like the wingnut bloggers, I will react like I do when dealing with them. Go fuck yourself.

Aw come one Cole, it’s not that bad…
Look, I’m an Atlanta Falcons fan…I was doubly pissed off about Vick’s crimes. One because of what he was doing to those dogs, and second for what he did to the team.
I have been casually following him since he re-entered the NFL (at first honestly hoping he would fail miserably), and he is not the same person he was when he was in Atlanta. He’s much more mature and thoughtful…he still doesn’t like studying playbooks, but that’s beside the point.
Show a little mercy. He paid dearly for his actions, both in millions of dollars, and years of his life spent in jail. I’m not saying to go out and buy a #7 jersey, just consider that the entire situation may have changed him for the better.

I work for Penn State. And, at the time, had no patience for what happened and stated so here and pretty much everywhere, including at work. Didn’t support what happened, don’t support it now and don’t make excuses for anyone involved. Would have been happy to see the NCAA sanctions upheld. The only thing I ever said that could be construed as “support” was that faculty, staff and students did not deserve to be painted with the same brush as the administration, especially those of us who are at campuses other than what others call the main campus but we call University Park.
I’m so glad to hear that things seem positive for her!

I would be watching the game, but the antenna we depend on for NBC reception is askew, and so my signal is not sufficient to receive images/sounds from the game.
I don’t like Ben, I don’t like Tom Brady, either. I don’t like either coach, either…
But the game has some kind of athletic beauty.
I’m doing physical therapy for my shoulder, now partly titanium alloy. I think their shop will become crowded as football players begin showing up to rehab from the strains, sprains, etc. There’s a small person who may have hurt his throwing arm already. He’s getting shoulder rehab, but all different from what I need.
Couple more months to go for me. I can do light household stuff, laundry, cooking, grocery shopping. But I can’t change out implements on the tractor, or mount the backhoe on it. Or even change the oil… but soon.
Sorry you innocent staff folks had to even be around that noise. Joe was obviously way way past being in charge of anything, and his assistants weren’t watching out for anything that wasn’t directly team/football related.
I don’t blame you for being a little hair trigger, either. I don’t think anyone would really make a remark that was intended to attach any blame on you or your co-workers, and any remarks you might hear are because everyone else doesn’t even know of your tenuous connection.
Hang in there. PSU is still an institution of higher learning, and that is what is more important. All this football stuff is really just tribal play-acting. I’m nearly getting over it.

Brady is now 8-2 against the Steelers with 24 TDs and 3 interceptions. This is the sort of record that is referred to as “uninspiring” by vegan aesthetes who think hiking is a sport.
Genuine football fans look at it and see a spectacular record against a premium franchise.
Damn we are not near the 2nd and already the Cheatriots are messing with the Stiller headsets.;-)
I know. It’s as though the Patriots think people ignored the ESPN report about the amount of “questionable” BS they’ve pulled since 2000.
To all other teams that have to play in Gilette Stadium this year: just don’t f-cking go, do not put your team on the field until the NFL installs at Kraft’s expense a working headset system that can’t be tampered with.
Genuine football fans look at it and see a spectacular record against a premium franchise.
Unless those genuine football fans read the ESPN reports about the excessive stunts the Patriots have attempted since 2000 – including the FAULTY HEADSET shtick – and see a horrific record of cheating.
141.
Joe Shabadoo
@PaulW: the NFL is in charge of the headsets already
@PaulW: You have to be either drastically brain damaged or totally uninformed to think the headset whine amounts to anything.
Even the dopes currently running the Steelers have decided not to file a complaint, because pursuing it would make them look like vindictive, ignorant, gutless pukes.

Yes,it’s the usual dinking and dunking. Competent, but uninspiring.
Let me know when you need your diaper changing and I’ll send pest control over.
BruceFromOhio
@Davebo: You could read about the history and growth of amusement park trade associations. I think I will watch the recording of Public Morals from Tuesday. It ain’t Leverage, but it will serve.
My only regret about the start of regular season NFL is the march into darkness that is winter in Ohio starts …. um… now
different-church-lady
Anyone for 0-3 kicking?
Cacti
@dr. bloor:
I mean, it’s not like Bob Kraft has ever had to stand up at the owners meeting and making a tearful apology to the other 31 for his team being cheating SoB’s.
Wait, yes he has.
different-church-lady
@RareSanity:
Did Tebow sign with someone while I wasn’t paying attention?
Oh, wait… you said capable.
Morzer
@RareSanity:
I dunno, man. Vick couldn’t even keep the Jets’ backup QB spot – and I don’t know if there was ever a lower bar in football.
(Except possibly better franchise owner than Dan Snyder).
MoeLarryAndJesus
@Morzer: Ten yards per pass attempt isn’t dinking and dunking, my pussy little friend. Are you some sort of inbred, unwashed Jests fan?
Morzer
@different-church-lady:
Obviously Thurston ate the kicker’s good shoe while Cole wasn’t looking.
different-church-lady
@Cacti: I’ll take that as a, “Yes, I haven’t read the report.”
Betty Cracker
@RareSanity: Only a soulless sociopath would spend years and invest his copious excess income torturing and killing dogs. Fuck Vick, fuck his phony profit-driven redemption tour and fuck any team that hires the sorry bastard.

@Morzer:
Better put Ted Wells on retainer, Brady must be generally aware of it.
Morzer
@different-church-lady:
Look, just because Tom Brady has some black and yellow laces hanging from his mouth…..
Svensker
Why hasn’t God struck Brady dead with mighty lightning? Why? I hate those f7ggers with the heat of a thousand bolts. Die, cheaters, die.
SRW1
That’s OK, Mr Cole. I am not watching them for you. Happy to help.
Gex
It took me a couple of tries to quit football.
MoeLarryAndJesus
@MoeLarryAndJesus: Should have been pussy, not pussy. Sheesh.
Tony Romo led the league in yards per attempt with 8.5 last year. Anyone who thinks 10 yards per attempt is “dinking and dunking” stopped watching when Daryl Lamonica retired.
Morzer
@Svensker:
I have a Mr Nietszche on line one. He wants to know whether you’d like the pine casket for God’s funeral.
MoeLarryAndJesus
@Svensker: Because god doesn’t exist, ya dumb bastid.
Morzer
@Gex:
Did you go cold turkey, or did you gradually taper off?
Svensker
It would have been great to have a big ol’ lightning bolt hit that bogus trophy. A girl can wait. And hope.
Morzer
@Svensker:
The way Goodell is handling things, he’d probably be holding the trophy at the time.

@Morzer:

This is a pretty boring-ass game.

@Joel:
There was a neat shot of some drying paint a couple of minutes ago.

Pitt might want to consider covering that #11 fellow.
Bobby Thomson
@Myiq2xu: Indeed.
MoeLarryAndJesus
@Morzer: Helps explain why Graham can’t keep a job. Awful.

@MoeLarryAndJesus:
Thanks for your contribution to the world’s pile of stupid, but I am going to expand your pie-consumption opportunities starting right now.

Good news!! So glad for you.
My Dad got into a clinical trial, and the magic medicine 67987 worked for him! So medical magic sometimes comes true!
congratulations!

@geg6:
RK
It’s not play-acting. Humans are tribal.
MoeLarryAndJesus
@Morzer: Have a nice salted dink pie yourself, Morzer.
MoeLarryAndJesus
Brady is now 8-2 against the Steelers with 24 TDs and 3 interceptions. This is the sort of record that is referred to as “uninspiring” by vegan aesthetes who think hiking is a sport.
Genuine football fans look at it and see a spectacular record against a premium franchise.
redshirt
@MoeLarryAndJesus: Morzer no doubt thinks the Patriots cheated their way to those stats.
MoeLarryAndJesus
@redshirt: Morzer should stop opining about sports and stick to his area of expertise as a hamster pediatrician.
Morzer
@redshirt:
It’s nice to see you two having your own little pie munching party. Have fun on the short bus, kids!
PaulW
@Mr Stagger Lee:
PaulW
@MoeLarryAndJesus:
Unless those genuine football fans read the ESPN reports about the excessive stunts the Patriots have attempted since 2000 – including the FAULTY HEADSET shtick – and see a horrific record of cheating.
Joe Shabadoo
@PaulW: the NFL is in charge of the headsets already
Paul in KY
@Morzer: Amazed, I tells ya!!!
Paul in KY
@BruceFromOhio: Go Brownies!
MoeLarryAndJesus
@PaulW: You have to be either drastically brain damaged or totally uninformed to think the headset whine amounts to anything.
Even the dopes currently running the Steelers have decided not to file a complaint, because pursuing it would make them look like vindictive, ignorant, gutless pukes.
MoeLarryAndJesus
@Joe Shabadoo: But PaulW has the brains of GeorgeW.
