@raven: Howard hasn’t played much this whole calendar year and is old. Guzan also hasn’t played that much this year. Both were terrible for their club teams. Klinsmann also holds grudges when older players choose to take time off from the National team.
My guess is this will be Howard’s last game for the US

I’ve got to disagree with your assessment of Guzan (not so much Howard, but damn, he does play well for the national team). Aston Villa absolutely stunk in front of Guzan- given some defense, he’s more than serviceable. IMO, anyway.
