Balloon Juice

Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

“Squeaker” McCarthy

Why did Dr. Oz lose? well, according to the exit polls, it’s because Fetterman won.

An almost top 10,000 blog!

Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

In my day, never was longer.

Nancy smash is sick of your bullshit.

Republicans are radicals, not conservatives.

You cannot shame the shameless.

Is it irresponsible to speculate? It is irresponsible not to.

Insiders who complain to politico: please report to the white house office of shut the fuck up.

My years-long effort to drive family and friends away has really paid off this year.

Our job is not to persuade republicans but to defeat them.

The worst democrat is better than the best republican.

Accused of treason; bitches about the ratings. I am in awe.

Incompetence, fear, or corruption? why not all three?

Let me eat cake. The rest of you could stand to lose some weight, frankly.

Usually wrong but never in doubt

The GOP couldn’t organize an orgy in a whorehouse with a fist full of 50s.

Pessimism assures that nothing of any importance will change.

This really is a full service blog.

I’ve spoken to my cat about this, but it doesn’t seem to do any good.

Come on, man.

They fucked up the fucking up of the fuckup!

… pundit janitors mopping up after the GOP

Always something there to remind me

Darrell Issa’s retirement reminds me of something…raising money for Democrats in House races. Why not give to the Balloon Juice fund that is split equally among all Democratic nominees in House districts currently held by Republicans?

    300 days to midterms! Find a candidate you can get behind/who needs your help near you. If you live in some blue hell hole, count your blessings and adopt a a candidate nearby.

    The Berniebro narrative has moved on from “Democrats will never win again unless they do exactly what I tell them to do” to “Yeah, the Democrats will win, but everything they do will be worthless unless it’s exactly what I tell them to do.” I consider that progress.

    @Thoroughly Pizzled:

    Has there ever been a more pathetic cult of gullible useless broflakes than Berniebros? Between Jane Sanders and the grand jury interview re Burlington College and the reaction to Oprah, they’re having a meltdown and I AM HERE FOR IT.

    @Brachiator:

    Naked Eyes is what I hear first. Sad!

    I’m glad Issa is retiring, although it would have been nice to see him defeated. That guy is the human representation of the word slimy.

    Oh, I haven’t seen that– is she a neoliberal sell-out?

    of course – she’s a billionaire which disqualifies her because…. reasons. Trotting out patrician elitist FDR as the role model for Dems is different, because shut up that’s why.

    @the Conster, la Citoyenne: I always love reminding BernieBros/Sisses that FDR was considered a total neoliberal corporate sell-out by their ideological peers back in the day.

    @Miss Bianca:

    Berniebros of the day were for Norman Thomas. It’s hilarious that they don’t know any history which never stops them from having strong and wrong opinions, and which is why they can’t ever be taken seriously, They’ve rendered themselves irrelevant. Ralph Northam and Doug Jones agree.
