    I just wrote to NJ (or rather, my county) asking about the ballot dropped off Oct. 10 in the drop-off box and not shown as received in the tracker. Somewhere it says it may take a week. I don’t actually see any reporting on the reliability and lag of that system.

    In principle they are allowed to start counting in three days. But meanwhile they are supposed to be logging everything.

    Mrs. O is an election judge.  Typical early voting traffic is around 850/day at her location, it has been over a 1,000/day, yesterday was 1,500.

    Location is heavily white area, lots of African Americans, Mexican Americans, Asians and sub-continent Asians voting in larger numbers than usual.

    I was in the Rio Grande Valley today, the bank I was in the lady I was visiting with produced a Biden/Harris hat.  She said everyone that works in the bank is voting for Biden, even the GOP president.

    Lot’s a masks in that part of Texas.  If I go to west Texas or east Texas (redneck haven), masks are rare.

    Anyways, guess we will see if there is more there there but having access to the information is a nothing burger. Having direct access to the files themselves would be something else.

    Edit: I did comment recently that Collins did set a dangerous precedent with her vile stunt.     Jefferson County Circuit Court Judge Annie O’Connell ruled Tuesday that the grand jury could speak publicly and that recordings from the proceedings could be released. O’Connell said that it was “in the interest of the citizens of the Commonwealth of Kentucky to be assured that its publicly elected officials are being honest in their representations.”

    That would explain his rather lackadaisical approach to being President. But I’m thinking of all the things I’d never really wanted to do but got roped into, and they are all on the order of boring dinner parties and movies someone else chose.

    It’s a hard and grueling marathon  to run for President. How  lacking you must be to allow yourself to be pushed into that. Just empty of any inner core.
