    Just finished watching on delay. I was wondering how they were going to handle the disguised Selmy. The decision to do away with Arstan Whitebeard and reveal him at the beginning right away definitely works. But that creates other spoilerishy problems that I am not sure how they are going to resolve.

    From Hamlet, Act II, Scene 2, the “Hecuba Soliloquy,” whic ends of course with “…the play’s the thing wherein I’ll catch the conscience of the King.”

    GoT is not Shakespeare, but it is very good in creating vivid characters and having those characters play out their lives with the themes of power, abuse of power, pride, ambition, sex, sexual violence, and sexual repression in a setting not very different than Elsinore Castle.
