Balloon Juice

Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

I’d try pessimism, but it probably wouldn’t work.

Nancy smash is sick of your bullshit.

It’s all just conspiracy shit beamed down from the mothership.

You cannot shame the shameless.

Putin dreamed of ending NATO, and now it’s Finnish-ed.

Let’s show the world that autocracy can be defeated.

I’m just a talker, trying to find a channel!

Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

Sadly, media malpractice has become standard practice.

The media handbook says “controversial” is the most negative description that can be used for a Republican.

Can we lighten up on the doomsday scenarios?

Someone should tell Republicans that violence is the last refuge of the incompetent, or possibly the first.

The frogs are rarely mistaken.

Putting aside our relentless self-interest because the moral imperative is crystal clear.

Balloon Juice has never been a refuge for the linguistically delicate.

He wakes up lying, and he lies all day.

The truth is, these are not very bright guys, and things got out of hand.

Only Democrats have agency, apparently.

Insiders who complain to politico: please report to the white house office of shut the fuck up.

Reality always lies in wait for … Democrats.

Nothing says ‘pro-life’ like letting children go hungry.

Trump’s legal defense is going to be a dumpster fire inside a clown car on a derailing train.

fuckem (in honor of the late great efgoldman)

Thanks to your bullshit, we are now under siege.

Hillary, when do you get back to K’zoo? I’m going to Canada for American Thanksgiving, but am toying with the possibility of visiting a few old friends from my Flint and Battle Creek days on the return trip, and Ktown wouldn’t be difficult.

10 am the Saturday after Thanksgiving for Montclair? Damn… I’d love to meet up with other Juicers but I’ll probably be in PA with the folks after Thanksgiving… maybe it might be possible for me to make it if it were later in the day, like late afternoon/evening?

La Caterina and I should be available. If you’re interested, we could help pick a Brooklyn venue?

I’d be interested in the NYC meet up since the last one was so much fun. Preferably midtown.

@Johannes: Hi, I’m thinking Chinatown would be a good “medium” between the Manhattanites and Brooklynites. What do you think?
