    Over the past three years, Weber County Jail inmates reported maggots, mold, and dirt in their meals, and health inspectors cited the food service contractor with an unrelated series of critical violations, according to county records.

    Inmate grievance reports and complaint investigations by Weber-Morgan Health Department inspectors verified at least four instances of adulterated food, starting with moldy bread in April 2015.

    @J R in WV: Thanks for calling me stupid in the other thread. I didn’t have the whole story until a couple of people laid it all out. I only had a small piece of the story and it looked to me exactly the way I described it, but you couldn’t take the time to explain it to me, could you.?
    Kind of hurts even though I don’t know you other than here, and I thought we were on friendly terms.

    Not all of us are running at 100% all the time and maybe I missed something after I saw Anne Laurie’s second comment to me, which I understood and agreed with. I got no sleep because of this respiratory infection I’ve been fighting since Christmas Eve so I’m going to use that as my excuse for not being perfectly brilliant. What’s yours for being so unkind? .

    I don’t follow movie stars much, but am totally over men taking advantage of women in the media which this appeared to be another example of to me at the time. I’m not very fond of the public face of my gender right now, and what’s his name seems like a prime example of that. Now I’m gonna apologize for explaining after saying I got no excuse.

    PS, I also am recovering from an upper respiratory infection which fortunately is responding to antibiotics very well. Wife also too. Hard to keep house when you’re both down with even a mild crud. Best of luck with your own crud!! Winter sucks for being sick!! Take care!

    @Sab: I grew up a Lions fan and stopped watching when I moved away from Michigan as at that point I would have had to go to significant effort or cost to watch them, and after more than 30 years of futility I figured they hadn’t earned that level of commitment.
