And you thought puppies running and barking in their sleep was adorable.
Here’s a link to the clip on PBS with audio as the biologist speculates about what she’s dreaming about and talks a bit about camouflage behavior https://t.co/8rn6oIvlDR

It’s magic, isn’t it? I’d ask, How does that even work? but I am pretty sure the answer involves chemistry and physics, and I was an art major.
Our kitties and doggies dream, why not octopi?
It’s water color.
I’ll let myself out and say hello to NotMax while I’m there.
You guys, I’m not doing a recipe post this week because Alain’s asked me to fill in again for a couple of days and I’ve got another guest post from WereBear this weekend. In case anyone was wondering where their food was this evening.
he was dreaming of the lions.
@Ohio Mom: It’s just:
Hey! I put myself in the penalty box with NotMax. What more could I do?
OK besides not make the obvious lame joke.
But you are welcome!
Also I’m listening to a you tube music video that I like and while the music may not be to everyone’s taste the picture is pretty cool.
It’s cool but for some reason it kind of creeps me out.
Or, if you want to be super fancy, octopodes.
@Ruckus: Well, Somebody has to be NotMax when he’s not here. Think it’s a blog rule or sumthing.
How I spent my day…
That’s far better than my joke.
@Ruckus: Thanks, the reason it took a good portion of my day is that I put my camera bag on my tripod to steady it and it did the opposite. I had to throw away some shots(I’m using stacking here) and then align the rest. I’m happy with the result though.
My partner and I don’t eat octopus anymore because they’re so intelligent. But who knows? There’s a chance I’d make an exception here or there. This video makes it less likely I’d ever make an exception.
