I opened my email this morning, and there it was.  An angel had appeared in my inbox overnight, offering to match $500 of donations for our current fundraising effort to save Michigan!

Our first BJ angel for this Michigan effort would like to remain anonymous, but she will match up to $25 for each person who donates up to $25 or more and tells us about it in the comments.  Until the matches in the comments reach the magic $500 amount.

Who’s up for getting this done?

    @Mo Salad: It would be hard for us to hit our goal if we did that, but I super appreciate your donation yesterday!

    I promise I wasn’t hoarding angels :-) so if there is a lag between BJ angels it will because I don’t have any more.

    But I can tell you that another BJ angel just wrote, offering a $500 angel match, so it looks like we will be able to keep going for awhile. :-)

    No one should ever apologize for not being able to give more.  We all have different amounts of discretionary income, and it’s quite likely that your $10 donation is as generous as someone else’s $100.

    @Mo Salad: True.  By the time you’re 10,000 years old you’re probably kind of tired, or at the very least your work ethic might flag, so you might not be able to make as much and save as much.

    Clearly, we can’t rely on the birthday effect to get us to our goal. I bet Betty White would have given a hundred, though!
