    Evidently JP Della Camera thinks the US Women should beat every team they play 5-0.The US isn’t playing great, but JP seems to think they were catastrophically bad

    JP every 10 minutes with the biggest upset in WWC history talk. Also, the US did not allow a shot on goal so despite the possession, except for the shot that hit the post, Portugal did little with the ball. The US had 17 shots with 6 on goal but few were really good chances. The US is going to miss Lavelle in the next round

    JP is the worst type of jingoistic announcer.  They should let Julie Foudy call the game, or even allow some silence instead of JP.

    This definitely is worst USWNT performance in a WC.  They couldn’t pass at all. Rapinoe has not injected any value as a sub, nor have the other subs.

    I place most of the blame on Vlatko.  He makes no in game changes, delays subs until there is too little time to affect a change.  Today he could have meekly decided to park the bus around the 80th minute to defend the draw.  He did not and they came within inches of loosing.

    Next game without Lavelle, does he make a bold choice and put Ertz as a #6 (her usual position as defensive midfield) with Horan as a #10 ?  Or does he hope for magic with corner kicks giving us more goals than Sweden’s corners?  Or play for PKs from minute 1?
