    The best comment moderation is where only the poster sees it ( and claims victory for stunning the rest into silence) and other people are not bothered by it.

    One comment of mine went through without incident, but at least three others (all since about 9:30) simply didn’t post. They weren’t in moderation limbo, they just … “poof!”

    Haven’t seen the problem, but my last comment was this morning at about … I forget when, but it was date-stamped 3:17am. (By the way, what time zone are those comment date stamps? Eastern?)

    Anyway, that should hopefully help with giving an early bound to when the problem started.

    I had one go into moderation just before 8am on the Late Night Open Thread. It was especially hurtful because I was mocking Cornel West and that’s supposed to be a free action.

    @Betty Cracker: yep, I think I was the first at least in that thread. Didn’t seem an unusual post but there was a word in there that I’m sure WP wouldn’t have recognized.
