Sorry, Betty, Adam…
Trump changed his permanent residence to Florida, so we made a browser extension that changes his name to "Florida Man."

Althugh — and I say this as someone who grew up two blocks from the Major Deegan Expressway, during the height of leaded-gasoline usage — perhaps Queens native Trump just had an environmentally impaired childhood:
One shocking find was that rates of arrest for violent crime is currently higher for boomers than it was for middle aged people in 1991. The "greatest generation" were exposed to less lead as children. Compared w lower violent crime for Xers & millenials.https://t.co/KAx8pJlSFg

My Side of Town
If there is a pattern, then this will be it when the question arises, “If Jeffrey Epstein didn’t kill himself, the wo did?”
The Energy Secretary: The Ambassador to the EU did it.
The Ambassador to the EU: The president’s lawyer did it.
The President’s Lawyer: Igor did it.
Igor: Lev did it.
Lev: No, the president’s lawyer definitely did it.
The President’s Lawyer: The aide to the Ukrainian president did it.
The Aide to the Ukrainian President: The special U.S. envoy to Ukraine did it.
The Special U.S. Envoy to Ukraine: No, the president’s lawyer definitely did it.
The President’s Lawyer: Okay, then…the former vice president’s son did it!
The former vice president’s son: The president did it. Just ask the former ambassador to Ukraine.
The former Ambassador to Ukraine: Yes, the president did it.
The President: The vice president did it.
The Vice President: [Looks around, sees there’s no one else to blame] Aw, phooey. [Jumps off ledge]
The chief of staff: We all did it! We do it all the time! get over it!
JWR
@My Side of Town:

OzarkHillbilly
Heh:
JWR
@?BillinGlendaleCA: Well, I think Cole said it would happen sometime around the 6th or the 8th, so I decided, (eta unlike you), to split the difference before I started complaining. ;)
But since we’re still on the old site, I’d like to complain!
p.a.
PBS did an American Experience about the first medical examiner in the US (world?), in NYC, from about the late 1880’s into the 1920’s. Very soon after the advent of the popularization of the automobile he and his team had to investigate a series of violent, senseless killings committed by NY/NJ refinery workers. He established the dangers of leaded gasoline before 1920. Standard Oil took the lead in applying political and economic pressure in suppressing the science. The research languished in the ME files for decades.
JWR
@p.a.: Wow! I hope more people here see this. Since before the 1920’s. Again, wow. (But it sure did make those early gas engines run smoooth, which is far more important than the public health.)
PaulWartenberg
Great. Nobody apologizes to ME about getting a lousy neighbor… :(
