In wholesome news, I’m teaching my dog to use recorded buttons to say “outside”, “play”, “eat”, & “love you”. The first three were easy to model (ie pressing the “outside” button & then going out) and she learned right away.
Today she learned “I love you.”

It’s weird I gave my cat a bunch of buttons too like food, snuggle, outside and she just sits on my laptop keyboard pushing murder over and over. Maybe I shouldn’t have left that option in she must think it means something else? Silly cat!

High school is truly over for the kiddo. Friday was last day of classes for seniors but today she had to retake the AP calc test because the first time she got caught in a glitch with the image files required for showing their work. The app wouldn’t accept the default Apple image file format. Done and dusted (she used my Android tablet instead of trusting the ipad would produce jpegs).
The end to the weirdest of years. TBH I can’t actually recall my last walk out of HS, so in the long haul I think class of 2020 will get past this, but for now they’re mostly just disappointed it’s such an anticlimax. Thirteen years is your entire life when you’re just eighteen.
