    @redshirt: Dole was #NeverCruz (like, “Lucifer in the flesh”-level) and was on board with whoever could take Cruz out. He really, really doesn’t like Cruz.

    In fact, during the primary Dole said that he would vote for any Republican candidate over Hillary… but that he might oversleep that day if Cruz were the candidate.
