Sunday Steelers Thread
Steelers v. Bengals- you know the drill.
*** Update ***
Three hundred million people in America, and a not insignificant portion of them love the NFL and football. Out of that large number of people, CBS can not find one person to do a better job announcing than Randy Cross?
Jesus, how does he still have a job?
*** Update ***
And now the bastards at CBS shove that Steely McBeam crap in my face.
Eers Recap
Another blowout for the Mountaineers as they beat Rutgers by the score of 31-3, and the highlight of the game was Steve Slaton’s first quarter run, which was made all the more amazing when you consider how wet the field was at the time.
Well, that was the highlight of the game until two minutes left in the fourth quarter, when one of the ABC announcers said the following (and I paraphrase):
“The WVU defense has played magnificently, including Dingle and Berry.”
Which was just all sorts of awesome, because I am 37 going on 12 (and those are real players). There is a lot of football left in the season, but I have my own personal highlight.
Saturday College Football Thread
Eers v. Rutgers!
Are there any matchups worth watching later in the day? I have basically given up on the NFL. I still love the Steelers, but no one is going to beat the Patriots ever again, and it kind of takes the thrill out of the game when you realize the whole season is meaningless because in the playoffs you will have no chance unless Tom Brady catches pneumonia or is stabbed in his throwing arm by a jealous supermodel.

Stories of Notre Dame’s demise make me happy in my pants.
Steelers-Seahawks Thread
Guess the final score! I will go with 21-10 Steelers.
***Update***
I was half right. Seahawks couldn’t even make it into field goal territory.

Steelers-Cards Open Thread
The game started off right, if you ignore the Cards linemen camped out in our pocket.
*** Update ***
Eers lose, Steelers lose, the weekend is now complete. /wrist (John wrote the update).
