This may be the funniest thing I have ever seen:
Effective immediately, new users may *not* shill for Ron Paul in any way shape, form or fashion. Not in comments, not in diaries, nada. If your account is less than 6 months old, you can talk about something else, you can participate in the other threads and be your zany libertarian self all you want, but you cannot pimp Ron Paul. Those with accounts more than six months old may proceed as normal.
Of course, those who post at Red State with accounts more than six months old amount to Leon, Erick Erickson, Ben Domenech, Rush Limbaugh’s intern, the frothing fucking lunatic who now pretends to be Moe Lane but simply can not be the same person who posted with that account a couple years ago, four members of the House who haven’t been told people laugh at Red State, a few members of the Lavender Bund, Tom DeLay’s former chief-of-staff, the founders of the Victory Caucus, and some drunk guy who posts from a DC Public Library, who may or may not have been the inspiration for the movie Conspiracy Theory.
Everyone else with an account that old stopped reading them or reads them now only to giggle and mock. The remainder of the folks who have tried to post at Red State got banned within a week of forming their account for “trolling,” which is loosely defined as saying anything about Bush or Republicans that would not make it onto the front page of a knob-slobbering, Bush-worshipping Hugh Hewitt post. Really, try it for yourself.
In other words, Red State is banning the mention of Ron Paul. Why? We aren’t sure, but let’s go for the all-purpose answer at Red State:
“THE DEMOCRATS ARE WORSE!”
*** Update ***
