The draft opinion suggests the court is poised to overturn the landmark Roe v. Wade case that legalized abortion nationwide. While confirming its authenticity, Chief Justice John Roberts said the leaked draft doesn't represent the court's final decision. https://t.co/4bsYvSUYbt

The US is not divided on the issue of abortion.
Only 19% of US Americans support a ban on abortion and the percentage has been fairly consistent for decades.https://t.co/CUtTD6ZNyc pic.twitter.com/HBPndqAGjX

In the US there have been 41 bombings of abortion clinics, and another 173 arsons.
11 total people have been murdered in 7 separate attacks on abortion clinics. There have also been 17 attempted murders.
To my knowledge, there are zero cases of pro-choice bombings or murders. https://t.co/GBj2fD9LY8— Nicholas Grossman (@NGrossman81) May 3, 2022
Remembering Dr. George Tiller today, who preformed abortions on women in the absolute most dire circumstances, whose murder I covered in Kansas in 2009 when he was shot in the head by an while serving as an usher AT CHURCH. https://t.co/Ugp5ot1W60

It turns out that I have a hard time forgiving and forgetting a pack of self-righteous, angry, and ignorant fanatics who cursed at me and my now-wife and called us murderers over and over again. For months.
You see, after we got engaged but well before the wedding, my wife became pregnant. And at about the worst possible time – she was in her senior year of undergrad and applying to med school.
We were young, broke, and too proud to ask for help.
Planned Parenthood, when we finally called, gave us very detailed instructions for arrival. Guarded lot across the street, please don’t rise to the protestors’ bait, don’t bring much because airport-type security. (1990s version).
Sure enough, walking that gauntlet was very unpleasant at the first http://visit.to Planned Parenthood. And the second. And the sixth. And, well, all of them really.
But it wasn’t like we had a lot of choices but Planned Parenthood.
Nobody else provided prenatal care we could afford.
(Our daughter turns 25 in a couple of months.) /fin
This @RuthMarcus theory suggests that a goodly number of Republicans knew what was going down.
Which, if true, suggests today's focus on the leak is pure cover-up. https://t.co/xkklC1U5Oa

This is the last tweet I am making about the topic: as much as one dislikes American conservatives, the way they react to defeats and failures is.. work harder, whereas on the left, you can get 10,000 retweets on something a 5 years old should be ashamed of. https://t.co/fItJLF8XOq
