I am settling in and starting to knit. The 538 election monitor just gave people heart palpitations, but as of this instant seems to be back to 5 out of 9 that Dems will take the House. Someone on Twitter commented that the way that indicator is fluctuating means it’s not a very good indicator. Which I tend to agree with.
Meanwhile, some good things are happening.
Kim Davis appears to have lost. The clerk in Rowan County, Ky., became a folk hero to social conservatives after refusing to issue same-sex marriage licenses. She trails Democrat Elwood Caudill by 54 to 46 percent, with 89 percent of precincts reporting
